It is fully waterproof and dustproof, thanks to its welded construction and super strong closure.

The TPU Guide Map Case is designed with convenience and versatility in mind. It features a detachable neck strap and corner anchor points, allowing you to carry it however you prefer. It is incredibly durable, able to withstand rough and tumble situations, but avoid sharp rocks and blades.

In addition to the TPU Guide Map Case, we use TPU in various other Sea to Summit products. It is used as an airproof barrier in our Air-Sprung Cell and Self-Inflating mats, as a waterproof barrier in our Accessory Guide Cases and Map Cases, and in several models of our Dry Sacks. TPU is also used as a waterproof barrier in our Nylon Folding Bucket and as a transparent window in our View Dry Sacks and Travelling Light products.

The TPU Guide Map Case has been tested and proven to be waterproof up to a depth of 10 meters for up to 1 hour when properly closed. However, please note that it is not intended for storing electronic devices under high water pressure.
